I spent forty-five minutes with a client last night and after the appointment was over he asked me what my specialty is. Normally I avoid this question but this person seemed pleased with my work so I admitted that I don't actually have a practice area and am a stay-at-home mother. He got the most priceless look of horror on his face and said, "But you are lawyer, aren't you?!"
This has got me to thinking that there actually are a lot of people out there who could benefit from consulting with a mom every now and again.
